Daks SlowBoy Globe Trotter Film documents a collaboration between Daks, illustrator SlowBoy, and Globe-Trotter, centred on the creation of a Daks-branded suitcase. The film moves between factory production and the journey of Fei Wang, the artist behind the illustrations.
Inside the factory, materials and processes are observed with precision, revealing the construction of each piece. These moments are intercut with travel sequences, following Fei Wang as he sketches and develops the SlowBoy character.
The film connects making and movement, linking craftsmanship with illustration and use through a restrained and considered visual approach.
